The Story Behind the Snark

Let’s be honest, your dog is judging you. Every side-eye, every dramatic sigh, every refusal to come when called. They’ve got opinions, and they’re not subtle about it. Snarky Barks was born from that exact energy.

We’re Hong Kong-based and obsessed with one thing: making dog people laugh. Our embroidered dad hats say the things your dog is already thinking — from the brutally honest to the hilariously relatable. The kind of phrases that make strangers stop you on the street.

Why Hats? Why Snarky?

It started when my pitbull gave me that look for the hundredth time — you know the one. Head tilted, full judgment. I thought, “someone needs to put that attitude on a hat.” Turns out, every dog person feels the same way.

Every Snarky Barks hat is embroidered (not printed — we have standards), built on premium dad hat blanks, and designed to be the conversation starter your dog park personality deserves.

The Human Behind the Hats

Hi, I’m Adena — solo founder of Snarky Barks, building this whole thing from my apartment in Hong Kong with four dogs who think they run the place (they do). My crew: a pitbull, a staffy/dalmatian mix, a Central Asian shepherd, and a dachshund. They’re the inspiration behind every hat, and yes, they each have strong opinions about the designs.
